November 18th, 2013: The next name in the game to secure $1M first place prize

news 981x400It's not for the pro's it's for the other 85%!

Whether you are a consistent scratch golfer or banking on the beginners luck long shot, it's an exciting tournament to be a part of! Entry fees get everyone at least one round of play with fully paid for green fees and carts. Winners of the first round will proceed to a fully paid for round 2 and then from there.... A national final on November 18th.

Most likely the sun will be shining in southern California as it typically does in mid November. Amongst the festivities of the day, a finalist will prevail and be crowned King of the Fairway 2013. Sure that the dinner and the awards ceremonies will be exciting enough and well worth every minute in it's own right, but lets not forget about the life changing, overly sized check for $1,000,000 that will be handed to the next big name in the game.

An idea, a concept, a vision... Taking center stage this year the organizers of King of the Fairway have worked to obtain an available course inventory with it's club partners and affiliates to enable the event to take root and grow.

Winners play-on. All green fees paid.

50 states 1 champion 981x400In case the thought of winning $1M for doing what you love to do most has got you daydreaming lately, a quick reminder that all Green Fees for the winners are paid in full.

King of the Fairway 2013 is a knockout winner's tournament. This means that top players play on beyond the initial round 1 tournament that they are selected for with all subsequent round 2 and round 3 green fees covered by King of the Fairway.

The registration process allows registrants to select a region, select a date range for the round 1 events, view the round 2 dates for that region and then complete registration. That way everyone's calendars can be clear for the center stage USA tournament series this 2013.

Following initial launch in 2012, the market responded favorably to a tournament of this nature and magnitude. The key to a successful launch this 2013 will be registrant counts so the organizers can make sure that critical mass is reached. An aggressive awareness campaign is half of the battle, the other half is that the registrants to this great event do their part, reach out to friends and colleagues and help drive awareness to the tournament. The only thing sweeter than winning a $1M is beating your friends and having them hold your giant check while you go grab a drink at the awards ceremony. The competition amongst ones favorite foursome or sparing partner alone should be enough to help make this great event a huge success.

With a registration period covering most of the golf season and tournaments starting at the back of the season in September, October and November everyone will have a good chance to practice and get ready to bring their A-Game to the tournaments.

So it's game on. The courses are ready, the season has started. It's time to prepare and choke down on the most innovative non-pro event in history!

new-non-pro-mega-tournament-hits-the-usa-with-a-1m-payout

news 981x400The registration period is now open for the newest and possibly the largest non-pro tournament ever to hit the planet!
King of the Fairway (www.kingofthefairway.com) is a National knockout tournament with a progressive structure that is promising the "little guy" a shot at a real prize and a real title "King of the Fairway".
Non-pro means no officially certified USGA pro's.
That means the competition is open and targeted to novice, recreational, seasonal and amateur players. Amateurs wishing to maintain official USGA amateur certification may have to follow official USGA published amateur status rules but with a payout like this it is more than certain that many will be making good use of their off-season to practice and get ready to lay claim on the prize and title.
"It is designed for the up and coming golf enthusiast, the ones that know they have a good game and want to have a shot at a real title".

With registration now open for our 2013 series players are encouraged to register and start practicing their game now. Round 1 games start in September 2013 and with regional availability it's a convenient way to take a shot on the main stage.
With a registration fee of just $295* (includes all green fees and cart fees) It's a tournament that's open to all who qualify and want to play. This is a little more than 2 times the cost of a good game of golf in the states and promises players not only a shot at a great title and mega-prize but a chance to get in on the excitement and be part of this national event.

Top players in each round move one with the best ending up at the the final national in November 2013.

The tournament structure is in 3 stages:

Stage1.
The first stage is a set of regional play-off tournaments. Location of these tournaments will be based largely by the demographics of the registrants with tournaments being held at clubs as close to the registrant locations as possible.

Stage2.
The top 24% from each round 1 tournament will progress to this stage.
The regional championships: In this stage, player will compete for a spot in the National final.

Stage3.
The top 3* in each regional final (each round 2 tournament) will proceed to the national final.
In this final golf's next stars will compete for the big ticket: The trophy and the $1M payout.
